Paul recently visited Nassau, Bahamas to celebrate the new book, A Girl Called Nettie, a memoir by good friend Netica Symonette and published by Dunham Books. As a result of that visit, Paul is now working on establishing the first ever “Netica Symonette Academic Scholarship Foundation” to help young Bahamian girls with full scholarships from grades 7 – 12 at the island’s best private schools.

During his visit to honor Nettie Symonette, Paul was presented with an award of appreciation for his 34 years of visits to the Bahamas. The award was presented by the Minister of Tourism, the Honorable Obie Wilchombe. Paul will be making several trips to Nassau to properly launch this all-important Foundation that means so much to Ms. Symonette and the many students that she will impact in such a powerful educational way.
